2026 development

GFI Canada, 2026 expansion and development.

Direct answer

Canada GFI is expanding its advisor support across the country through technology, licensing and training infrastructure, additional carrier relationships and leadership development. The initiatives described on this page are planned or under development, not completed commitments, and each remains subject to applicable approvals, agreements and regulatory requirements.

What is planned or under development

Each item below is labelled with its current status. Nothing here is a guaranteed commitment, a schedule or a financial projection, and everything remains subject to applicable approvals, agreements and Canadian regulatory requirements.

Under development

TevahTech for Canada

Continued rollout of the advisor technology platform with Canadian workflows, forms and carrier processes, so onboarding, needs analysis and follow-up reflect Canadian requirements.

Under development

Licensing infrastructure

Improved LLQP study guidance, exam preparation support and provincial licensing walkthroughs. Licensing itself is granted only by the provincial regulator.

Planned

Carrier and provider relationships

Work toward additional Canadian carrier and provider relationships. Any new relationship depends on contracting and appointment, and availability varies by advisor licence and province.

Under development

Canadian leadership development

Structured mentorship and leadership tracks for Canadian advisors developing teams, delivered through the Vancouver and Markham regional offices and online.

Planned

Next Level Academy

An advisor education program covering client process, case design and practice management. Curriculum and availability are subject to change.

Under development

Technology and AI (GFAI)

AI-assisted workflow, education and administrative tools that support licensed advisors. AI does not provide advice and does not replace a licensed professional.

Targeted

Additional provincial coverage

Growing the number of licensed advisors serving additional provinces and territories. Coverage in any province depends on individual advisor licensing.

Under development

Lead and business-development systems

Digital campaigns, webinars and referral systems that generate client introductions. Volume and quality of introductions vary and are not contractually guaranteed.

Planned

Agency-owner onboarding

A clearer onboarding path for advisors building their own agency, including training, compliance expectations and technology setup.

Planned

Cross-border opportunities

Exploring how Canadian and international advisors collaborate on referrals. Any cross-border activity is limited to what each advisor's licensing permits.

Under development

Dedicated Canadian resources

Canadian-specific education, forms, compliance materials and client-facing content, rather than adapting materials written for other markets.

Planned

Partnership and ownership development

Continued communication of the Partnership Ownership Program to Canadian advisors. Eligibility, rights and benefits are defined solely by the written program terms.
